Giant Pumpkins and Safety Day
Family-friendly Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off and Safety Day BOTH begin at 10:00 am and are FREE community events (and not to worry, there is a way to attend BOTH!)
For the Weigh-Off, head to Ballard Park and marvel pumpkin growers from around the region compete for cash prizes! There are events for kids, carving demos, and live music! Learn more here.
Safety Day takes place in the parking lot of East Ridge Middle School. Sponsored by Ridgefield Police Benevolent Association, the Ridgefield Volunteer Fire Department and the Ridgefield Professional Firefighters Association, Safety Day features K-9 demo by Officer Murray (11:00 am) and car seat safety inspections. A highlight of Safety Day is the Eagle One Helicopter which will land on the ballfield at 12:15 pm! Learn more about Safety Day here.
