Tickets on Sale for Almost, Maine at RHS
The Ridgefield High School Visual and Performing Arts Department will stage the romantic comedy Almost, Maine by John Cariani on November 15-18, in the Anne S. Richardson Auditorium of Ridgefield High School.
Almost, Maine is set on a winter’s night in the fictional title town near the Canadian border. In a series of short vignettes, the town’s residents find and lose love in various ways. For the past four years, Almost, Maine has been the most-produced play by U.S. high schools.
The forest setting for the show has been created with community donations of artificial Christmas trees. The cast and crew of the show will be hosting a donation event November 10, at the community entrance to Ridgefield High School from 1:00 -3:00 p.m. There is a need for green trees, taller than 5’ and with stands. Trees will not be returned.
Almost, Maine will have four evening performances, November 15-17 at 7:30 p.m., and two matinees, November 17 and 18 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students with school ID and for seniors age 60+. Ridgefield seniors who have a Gold Card may enjoy one show for free but must have the Gold Card with them for admission.
Tickets will be sold at the door. Online sales at http://www.rhsperformingarts.info/ RHS telephone: 203-894-5750.
