The Ridgefield Historical Society's Holiday Events Include Open House on Sunday, December 2 from 11 am to 5 pm
The Ridgefield Historical Society will be open to the public on Sunday, December 2 from 11 am to 5 pm. Mark your calendar and take advantage of this special occasion to visit the Scott House, festively decorated for the season, and cross some holiday gifts off your list!
- Sit for a Hand cut Silhouette
Deborah O’Connor will create a silhouette portrait for you, your family, and pets – just in time for the holidays! Sitting time for each subject is just five minutes. The original silhouette is $30 for members and $35 for nonmembers. You must have an appointment for this event, please call 203-438-5821 to schedule one. For pet silhouettes, bring your pet or a picture of the pet’s right profile. Join us for a holiday event at the Schoolhouse, specially decorated for the holidays! This festive event will feature light fare, seasonal punch, and music. A few surprises will be in store the night of the event and guests may bid on a selection of silent auction items. Space is limited. Tickets are $40 for members; $50 for nonmembers.
