All are invited to the weather-related rescheduled artists’ reception of ARTique 2018, a high-end art boutique at St. Stephen’s Church North Hall, 351 Main St. in Ridgefield, on Friday, Nov. 16, 6-8:30 p.m. ARTique in fact will open its doors to shoppers and browsers Friday at 10 a.m. and will remain open until the reception’s 8:30 closing. The evening reception will include finger food, beverages and live music. The show and sale continue Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Admission is free.

ARTique features the work of members of Connecticut Clay Artists (CCA) and guest artists who have been juried into the show. CCA members will be showing pottery of all styles: wheel thrown, slab built, sculptural, functional and decorative ware, including unique holiday décor items.

Guest artists will exhibit works in a range of media, including jewelry, fused glass, forged iron, wood, hand-painted silks, and photography. In a first for ARTique, one guest artist, Paul Scott, will be selling edible creations - handcrafted infused oils and vinegars.
