Screen legend Gregory Peck stars as courageous Southern lawyer Atticus Finch in the Academy Award-winning performance hailed by the American Film Institute as the Greatest Movie Hero of All Time. Based on Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel about innocence, strength and conviction and nominated for 8 Academy Awards, watch it and remember why, “It’s a sin to kill a mockingbird.” This special Fathom Events presentation includes exclusive insight from Turner Classic Movies and is part of the Cohen & Wolf, P.C. Movie Series.

A coming of age story, To Kill A Mockingbird deals with the subjects of racial injustice and the destruction of innocence. Set during the Great Depression of the 1930s, six year old Jean Louise Finch (nicknamed Scout) deals with issues of class, courage, compassion and gender roles in a small Southern Alabama town. Together with her brother Jem and friend Dill, Scout watches her father Atticus, a widowed lawyer defend a man black man accused of raping a white woman and learns what it means to stand up for the weakest among us.
