Songwriting Workshop with Emmy Award Winner Kevin Briody at The Ridgefield Playhouse Begins February 13

Do you dream of writing your own lyrics or music? Emmy-Award-winning songwriter and musician, Kevin Briody will teach you how to structure songs, create “hooks,” craft lyrics, manipulate melody, rhythm and harmony, merge words with music, and write toward genre in this 8-week workshop at The Ridgefield Playhouse. Whether you favor pop, rock, hip-hop, R&B, country, music, lyrics, or all of the above, he’ll show you how to write songs that soar! You don’t have to play an instrument to write a song. In this class you can take your poetry or thought and learn how to put it to music. No musical background required! Join Kevin Wednesdays 7:30pm-9:00pm, February 13 - April 3 to find the music inside you that’s been waiting to get out. This class is part of Adam Broderick Salon & Spa Whole New You Series partially underwritten by Reliance Merchant Service.

A two-time Emmy-Award-winner, Kevin Briody is an internationally recognized singer and songwriter who has shared the stage with talented artists ranging from Art Garfunkel to Aimee Mann. In 2008, he took home his first Emmy for Best Original Song with "Little Starr"—a tune that also earned him a BMI Film & Television Award.
