Fleetwood Macked returns to The Ridgefield Playhouse with Refugee May 16

Fleetwood Macked returns to The Ridgefield Playhouse with Refugee: The Ultimate Tom Petty Tribute Band on May 16

Two great bands playing the hits you know and love --  Fleetwood Macked: The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band and Refugee: The Ultimate Tom Petty Tribute Band  -- share the bill for an amazing night of classic rock hits at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Thursday, May 16 at 8pm. Back after a sold-out show last year, Fleetwood Macked brings your favorite Fleetwood Mac songs like “Go Your Own Way”, “Don’t Stop”, “Rhiannon” and “Landslide” to the stage in faithful renditions. Refugee honors the musical legacy of Tom Petty with hits “Don’t Do Me Like That,” “American Girl,” “Free Fallin,” and more! This show is part of the Pepsi Rock Series powered by Xfinity. Visit The Hideaway (30 Grove Street, Ridgefield) for dinner the day of the show and enjoy a complimentary draft beer or glass of wine with your entree when you show your ticket. Media partner for this event is 95.9 Fox Classic Rock.

Fleetwood Macked is a New York based tribute band whose resemblance to the original is both visually and sonically uncanny. Hailed as the most authentic Fleetwood Mac tribute band in the U.S., their performances -- complete with costume changes, dialogue and video backdrops-- make you feel like you are experiencing the real deal. Refugee both look and sound like The Heartbreakers and bring high energy and love for the music to the stage.

Much of the authenticity of Fleetwood Macked comes from the band’s history. Husband and wife musical team Hillary and Michael (Stevie and Lindsey) and friends Lizzie Ames, Robert Trombley and Keith Ross (Christine, John and Mick) have made great music together in various incarnations and finally came together with their mutual love of Fleetwood Mac. All the members of Fleetwood Macked are and have always been professional, touring rock musicians. Fleetwood Macked live brings the passion, depth, heart and the musicianship Fleetwood Mac's music requires. Whether performing theRumours album in its entirety or a decades show featuring Fleetwood Mac's hits from the 70's, 80's, 90's and today, every performance transports audiences to another time and place.

Refugee was formed in early 2014 by six seasoned New York musicians who love Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and has since become one of the most successful nationally touring tributes. Refugee plays the best of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Tom Petty solo music and some Mudcrutch and Travlin' Willbury's thrown in for good measure with such crazy precision.
