Kentucky Derby VIP Package Tops Ridgefield Library Auction

One of the highlights of the Ridgefield Library’s Great Expectations Gala, to be held on May 4, is the live auction of a limited, but select, number of items.

In keeping with its Kentucky Derby theme, the annual fundraiser will auction a Kentucky Derby VIP package for two that includes third-floor grandstand tickets to the 2020 Kentucky Derby on Saturday, May 2, and to the Kentucky Oaks on Friday, May 1; VIP passes; and Rooftop Terrace hospitality, which provides a premium vantage point and an unrivaled sight line of the starting line and the entire track. It also comes with accommodations for three nights, daily breakfast and round-trip transportation between the hotel and events.

The auction also features a Romantic Rhine River Cruise from Tauck Tours.  Enjoy a perfect week on the Rhine with this 7-night cruise for 2 between Amsterdam and Basel.

At press time three other items were slated for auction. First is a dinner party for 10, prepared at the winning bidder’s home by Sarah Bouissou Catering and Bernard’s. Next is a one-week Cape Cod vacation in Falmouth, MA, with accommodations in a one-bedroom suite.

A Power Lunch for two rounds out the list. It includes lunch and drinks at Gallo Ristorante with two prominent businessmen: Paul McNamara and Larry Bossidy.

The gala will also feature a Kentucky Derby Hat Contest and Kentucky Derby Race Contest with free chances to win valuable prizes donated by Gallo Ristorante, Posa Ristorante & Vineria, Litchfield Distillery, Adam Broderick Salon & Spa, ACT of CT, TerraSole and Thrown Stone Theatre.

The Gala is SOLD OUT!
