Battle of Ridgefield Anniversary on Saturday, April 27: Downtown Ridgefield Walking Tour, Keeler Tavern Free Tours, Danbury Raid, Rebels and Loyalists at Mapleshade Cemetery

See the Cannonball and Free Museum Tours
1 - 4 PM, Keeler Tavern Museum
Tour the museum and discover the lives of the Keelers at the time of the Revolution. See the famed cannonball, lodged in the side of the Keeler Tavern for 242 years and hear the story of the only battle to occur in inland Connecticut.

Lecture on the British incursion into Connecticut by Ed Hynes, beginning with the landing at Compo Beach, to the return to shore through Ridgefield and Wilton.

Battle of Ridgefield Walking Tour
2 - 3:30 PM, Main Street
Learn what happened in our village before the British departed on the morning of the 28th of April. Tour ends at the Keeler Tavern Cannonball. Tour also on Sunday.

A self-guided walking tour through Olde Town Cemetary. Learn how Ridgefield families participated on BOTH sides of the Revolutionary War.
