Colbie Caillat Brings Her New Band Gone West to The Ridgefield Playhouse on July 5

Hayley Orrantia (Erica from ABC’s “The Goldbergs”) Opens the Show

Grammy Award-winning and 2x Platinum recording artist, Colbie Caillat has a new band, Gone West featuring multi-platinum singer/songwriter Jason Reeves, 4-time Hawaii Music Award Winner Justin Kawika Young and ACM and CMT nominated artist Nelly Joy, and a new EP (Tides) of country music recorded in her new city, Nashville.

Gone West’s music brings a new freshness to modern country, straddling singer/songwriter vulnerability, Iowan humility, Lone Star tenacity and Hawaiian steel guitar. The playing is spare enough the instruments and voices shine, while the lyrics, which offer a heart-positive embrace of life, stand-out in the mix. Colbie Caillat brings Gone West to The Ridgefield Playhouse Friday, July 5 at 8pm part of Mountain Dew Country Bluegrass Series built by Rings End and Doyle Coffin Architecture Singer Songwriter Series.
