SPHERE Family and Friends Photography Exhibit on July 29 in Downtown Ridgefield

SPHERE partners with Focal Point for "Family and Friends" Photography Project

For the last 8 weeks, a group of adults from Sphere have been engaging in an artistic, therapeutic exploration of their identities and their community through a participatory photography project with local non-profit, Focal Point.

The project culminates with a gallery presentation of their work on Monday, July 29, 2019, at 6:30PM at SPHERE shop on 421 Main Street in Ridgefield. All are invited to attend!

The group will engage the public through the lens of photography and storytelling, sharing from their hearts to inspire the larger community on the theme "Family and Friends". Light refreshments will be served.

The project is in collaboration with Focal Point, a local non-profit that uses participatory photography as a tool for empowerment. As participants work together with a trained social worker to identify common themes in their lives, connect to a deeper meaning, and communicate that message to the public, they become grassroots activists and artists.
