Ancona's Annex Tasting with Eric Railsback on Oct. 2

You are invited to join Ancona's Wines & Liquors at the Ancona’s Annex in Branchville from 6:45 to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, October 2nd for a tasting with Eric Railsback of Lieu Dit, Presqu'ile, and Railsback Freres Wineries.

Reserve your spot ($10) here.

Eric will be walking us through a lineup of wines from a few of his passion-projects (and tickets are only $10!) Reserve your spot here.

This guy has been making his way from one side of the wine world to the other, from sommelier to now his own winemaking ventures. You may be familiar with some of the wineries with which he's associated:

-Lieu Dit, the Old-World styled Santa Barbara project we feature prominently at Ancona's

-Presqu'ile, the cool climate-focused winery in the heart of Santa Barbara's Santa Maria Valley

-Railsback Freres, the first project to take his name, Eric and his brother Lyle are making some bonkers wines in the Santa Ynez valley, emulating the styles of some top-notch winemakers from regions like Bandol and Languedoc-Roussillon

Needless to say, we're beyond excited to have Eric in to chat a bit about some of his wines, and how embracing the truest sense of 'terroir' yields some of the most honest, exciting wines that California has to offer.

For those of you who aren't familiar with the Ancona's Annex, it's the space that we're lucky enough to have for events. The former home of Mitch's grandparents, the Annex is an intimate space for no more than 20 guests to have a private experience with the host, often a winery representative like Eric.

Guests are welcomed with a pour of the aperitif du jour before being seated with a flight of wines hand-selected by the host to best convey their perspective and intention.

As always, space is limited! Grab a spot while you can here.
