As a photographer, Lester Lefkowitz has supplied photographs to many Fortune-500 companies and major publications throughout the world, including National Geographic, The New York Times and Time Magazine. Lester established the undergraduate art photography program at Stony Brook University and is the author of four books on photography.

 

In his presentation, Lester will show over a hundred slides illustrating techniques and offering suggestions for improving nature and flower photography. Participants will become more aware of light, composition, point of view and exposure, and learn techniques to improve their photographs. 

 

Following the lecture, Lester will be available to answer questions about cameras, general photography, close-up photography, and even questions about Photoshop and Lightroom. He will also be available to offer thoughts and suggestions for attendees' photos--whether printed or in digital format.
