Zombies Discussed at Ridgefield's Lifetree Café

The fascination with zombies will be explored at Lifetree Café on Wednesday, October 23 at 7:15 pm – 8:30 pm at the First Congregational Church of Ridgefield.

The program, titled “Zombies! What’s the Fascination?” features a filmed interview with Stephen Graham Jones, author of The Gospel of Z and Zombie Bake-Off.

“Just about every culture has a tradition of the dead rising,” says Jones. “And zombies aren’t evil; they just do what zombies do—they look for food.”

This program explores what is fueling our fascination with zombies—and what that fascination says about our culture.

Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Lifetree Café is located the First Congregational Church, 103 Main Street, Ridgefield, CT 06877 ~ next to the Fountain and Routes 3 and 35.

Lifetree Café is a place where people gather for conversation about life and faith in a casual, comfortable setting. Questions about Lifetree may be directed to Susan Glendinning at spglendinning@mac.com.
