The Hickories Annual Sheep Stroll will take place December 7th, 4-6 pm.
By purchasing your tickets now, you will reserve a space for yourself at our event. Be sure to allow plenty of time for parking (about 500 yards from the barn, so plan on a short walk.) We will make our lines starting around 4:20 and move the flock at dusk in tot he barn for the winter around 4:30. This is an annual farm favorite event for the whole family.
Help lead our ewes from their autumn pastures to their cozy winter barn. Holiday bells will ring as we guide their way! Know that in contribute to this event and supporting our farm allows us to continue hosting and working in this community.
Stay after to get first pick of our Holiday Farm Store offerings and enjoy food and fire while we embrace the holiday season!
Our farm store will be stocked with preserved fruits and vegetables from our 2019 season. Wool from the flock will be available featuring our newest additions created by Comfort Cloth Weaving. Comfort cloth has created for us this year hand woven shawls, baby blankets and scarves and the details and craftsmanship is incredible and we're so happy to be able to offer such an exquisite showcase of our fiber this year!
Can't make it to the sheep stroll?
Join us the following weekend, December 14th for a pop up holiday market. Our Holiday market will host a number of other local vendors, gift baskets, snacks, food, fire pits and and all around cheerful time. This event if for anyone looking to shop local this season and explore what some of our favorite local artists, makers and creators have to offer. More details to follow.
