Downtown Ridgefield is getting the sleigh in motion for the 20th Annual Holiday Stroll which will take place on Friday, December 6 from 6 to 10 pm and Saturday, December 7 from 10am to 5pm.
Billy Craig has announced that Holiday Stroll Horse and Carriage Rides will take place on FRIDAY ONLY beginning at 6pm. Rides will depart from Ridgefield Library and The Lounsbury House.

Ridgefield Holiday Stroll Scavenger Hunt (Friday and Saturday).
Using the social media platform, Instagram, post selfies at different Holiday Stroll locations with the hashtag #RidgeScavHunt19! The locations will be available in the Stroll program, but if you enjoy listening to all holiday singing groups, you'll be one step ahead! Prizes will be awarded to the individuals with the most hashtagged selfies!!
A holiday scene to behold is the one here, dancers on display inside the large window of Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance dressed in costumes from their upcoming performance of The Nutcracker. You can purchase tickets to this magical performance on the Ridgefield Playhouse website HERE.
Friday evening from 6 to 10 pm
Throughout downtown: horse-drawn carriages (Friday evening ONLY), musical performances, strolling carolers, and Toy Soldiers, ice-sculpting, local store promotions.
- Robust 7 will be performing at Ridgefield Library (Ridgefield Music Matters).
- Ridgefield Holiday Stroll Scavenger Hunt (see details above).
- Christmas at the Keeler Tavern from 5 to 9pm. This free family event takes place in the festively decorated Keeler Tavern, where there will be an "I SPY" game for kids, hot drinks, and refreshments.
- The Lions Club invites you to the Lounsbury House to write "Letters to the Troops" from 6 to 9pm.
