The Generator to be held February 27th at Zoe & Co Sugarbeads in Ridgefield

Ridgefield, CT - The Ridgefield Arts Council invites local artists and creative professionals to the next installment of “The Generator.” The Mardi Gras themed networking event will feature three speakers discussing their respective artistic endeavors, and will be held at 7:30pm, Thursday, February 27th at Zoe & Co Sugarbeads.

During the event, artists, writers and performers gather with the goal of learning, sharing, and networking with others to enhance both their creative process and their careers. The events are managed via the website Meetup.com and feature innovative speakers, arts demonstrations and presentations geared toward the creative community.

Bock is also the designer behind ABD Jewelry, which incorporates her knowledge of color, composition and texture and represents the idea that “Jewelry is Art That You Wear.” Using the colors of the Mardi Gras beads as a theme, Bock was challenged to feature and combine them, and will be discussing and showing examples of current artwork and jewelry that utilize these hues.

Andie Schoellkopf is the owner of Zoe & Co Sugarbeads, a jewelry studio and boutique in the heart of Ridgefield's historic Main Street. During this she was also co producer of Nicholas Pike Music for films and television. Schoellkopf founded Paris Design, designing luxury gem-filled kaleidoscopes. Schoellkopf will be presenting chic jewelry designs inspired by the vibrant colors of Mardi Gras.

Guests at the event will enjoy the musical stylings of the The Robust 3 who are all students in the Ridgefield High School Jazz Band. The trio consists of Kellan Barrett on drums, Ryan Sierakowski on bass, and Aidan Flaherty on piano, and can be recruited for any sort of performance at no charge through the ridgefieldhsmusic.org website.
