State Senator Will Haskell and State Representative Lucy Dathan will host a School Reopening Discussion via Facebook Live (Senator Haskell’s Facebook page) this Thursday, July 16 at 5pm.
With uncertainty continuing to swirl about the status of Connecticut’s COVID-19 outbreak and questions circulating about the state’s plan to reopen schools this fall, Senator Haskell has invited Rep. Dathan and the superintendents of Bethel, New Canaan and Ridgefield Public Schools to discuss the Governor’s school reopening plan Thursday afternoon at 5 p.m. This discussion will center around how to return to schools while keeping students and the public safe, a difficult balancing act.
Bethel Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Christine Carver, New Canaan Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Bryan Luizzi, Ridgefield Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Susie Da Silva will take part in the virtual event.
