FREE Outdoor Performances Begin in Ridgefield This Weekend!

Outdoors performances start this weekend on the grounds of Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center

Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center (KTM&HC) and Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra (RSO) are excited to present a summer series of diverse weekend performances, outdoors on the grounds of the KTM&HC campus.

The performances are FREE to attend and will be held primarily on Sunday afternoons on the patio of the Museum’s Visitor Center on Main Street in Ridgefield. Performers include musicians from the RSO, along with other fantastic local artists and bands.

The full line up of scheduled Sunday performances include:

July 19 – 4:30 PM - Shere Khan featuring Mike McNamara (music teacher at RHS); Greg DiMiceli, drums; Lucas Gould, bass; Andrew Beals, sax; Jamie Finegan, keyboards - Music type: rock/funk

July 26 – 3:00 PM – Paula Gallo & The 5 O’Clocks – Music type: original music, as well as band’s own arrangements of popular songs   

August 2 – 3:00-PM – Eric Christensen – Music type: folk/rock guitar

August 9 – 3:00 PM – The Cara Quartet – RSO musician & friends. Music type: classical flute & strings quartet

August 16 – 2:00 PM – Angry O’Haras - Music type: bluegrass/acoustic/ alternative 

August 23 – 3:00 PM – Peter Wikul Quartet – Music type: jazz quartet

August 29 (Saturday) – 4:00 PM – Gold Coast Brass – RSO musicians & friends. Music type: classical and popular brass quintet

NOTE: KTM&HC is COVID certified according to CT state guidelines for safely re-opening Museums & Aquariums (6/17/20):  only outdoor space is open (no Museum tours currently); social distancing; mandatory face coverings or masks; follow one-way signage; and no public restrooms. Performances are permitted outdoors ONLY.  Performers are exempt from wearing a mask when they are performing and are at least 12 feet away from the nearest person.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket, or stop by while strolling on Main Street, and enjoy live music and the summer in Ridgefield!
