ACT's Story Time features Broadway's Working Star Reading Sulwe

It's a new episode of ACT of Connecticut's Story Time! This week’s book is Sulwe, read by Zuri Washington, who starred in our 2019 production of Working!

Sulwe has skin the color of midnight. She is darker than everyone in her family. She is darker than anyone in her school. Sulwe just wants to be beautiful and bright, like her mother and sister. Then a magical journey in the night sky opens her eyes and changes everything. Recommended for grades K-3.

We love partnering with our friends at Books on the Common for a new episode each and every week!
