Speaking on national issues, endorsing Aimee Berger-Girvalo for State Rep.

U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal will visit with residents and speak in front of Town Hall, 400 Main Street, Ridgefield, this Sunday, September 27, at 12:30 pm.

Blumenthal will discuss issues of national importance and formally emphasize his endorsement of Aimee Berger-Girvalo, Democratic candidate for 111th District State Representative (the 111th District consists of all of Ridgefield except that part north of George Washington Hwy/Canterbury Lane).

Following the Town Hall event, Senator Blumenthal will join Ridgefield First Selectman Rudy Marconi and candidate Berger-Girvalo to canvass and speak with Ridgefield voters in their neighborhoods.

All officials, candidates, campaign staff, and volunteers will wear masks and socially distance to protect all against COVID-19. First Selectman Marconi requests that all attendees do the same.

26th District State Senator Will Haskell (representing all of Ridgefield, Redding, and Wilton, along with portions of Westport, Bethel, New Canaan, and Weston) and 138th District State Representative Ken Gucker (representing the northern-most sliver of Ridgefield), both of whom are running for reelection on November 3, also plan to attend to support 111th District candidate Berger-Girvalo. All Ridgefield residents are invited to attend.
