Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield Halloween Movie Spooktacular - Fun for All and Support for the Club During this Critical Time

A BGCR pop-up party (for a purpose) is brewing, Halloween is coming, and we have something stewing!  Join us for a Halloween Movie Spooktacular, hosted by members of the BGCR Board of Directors, Erin McMurray, Kelly Molony, Lynn Murphy Everdell, and Jennifer Muncy.

Like so many others, the COVID-19 pandemic has considerably hurt the Club financially. Although necessary, we have had to postpone, cancel, or alter most of our fundraising events and greatly restrict or cancel program operations, resulting in limited revenue. 

However, during this time we have also stayed true to our mission of helping all young people, especially those who need us the most, regardless of their family's circumstances.  We are more committed to this than ever before, and we are doing Whatever It Takes for our Club kids, our Club families and our Club community.

We are coming together as members of the Club's Board of Directors to host this Party for a Purpose to help close the Club's financial gap. The Club has an estimated $500,000 loss to our organization in 2020, and in response we have launched a COVID-19 relief fundraiser, the Whatever It Takes to Build Great Futures Campaign.

Originally this November we were set to host our bi-annual Great Futures Gala.  The price for a Halloween Movie Spooktacular pod is equivalent to that of a Gala ticket.  While we know that the Halloween Spooktacular is a much different event than the Great Futures Gala, we also know the importance of this fundraiser in helping to close the Club's financial gap.  If you can not attend the Halloween Movie Night Spooktacular, we hope you will consider donating what you would contribute at our gala, or perhaps even a little more, given the necessity of the Club's services this year.
