Celebrate and Support Ridgefield and Locals in Need Tomorrow in Front of Town Hall

Celebrate and Support Ridgefield tomorrow, Saturday, October 24th 10-4 at Town Hall

Donations (gift cards, monetary) accepted and given to Ridgefield Social Services to help Ridgefield families in need pay for rent, fuel, food, gas money, and basic needs.

For seven years, on the first Saturday of each month, the Ridgefield Rotary has held a food drive in front of Stop & Shop to support locals in need. COVID brought this fundraising endeavor to a screeching halt and Ridgefield Social Services without the resources to help many Ridgefielders in dire need.

Ridgefield resident Geri Blair and the Ridgefield Rotary have found an innovative way to celebrate community and help the hundreds among us who are in a financially compromised position due to the pandemic.

Celebrate and Support Ridgefield will take place tomorrow, Saturday, October 24th 10-4pm in front of Town Hall.

You are encouraged to stop by and celebrate everything wonderful about Ridgefield. There will be bands as well as other exciting surprises throughout the day. While the donation of food is not permitted, Rotarians will be accepting, cash, checks, Stop & Shop cards, restaurant gift cards, and credit cards. Corporate sponsorship donations are greatly appreciated as well!

All donations will be going to Ridgefield Social Services to help the families in need to pay rent, fuel, food, gas money, and just the basic needs.

The Rotary explains, "Our families are abundantly grateful for your assistance."
