With the current rapid rise in Covid-19 infections in our area, Ridgefield Guild of Artists has decided to cancel the Festive Tent Sale scheduled to run this weekend and next: Nov 21, 22 and 27, 28 and 29.
"For everyone's safety...our volunteer workers AND our shoppers...we just can't take the risk," said Pam Stoddart, Executive Director. "We want everyone to stay safe and healthy, especially as we all prepare for our own holidays in this Covid era."
Some have asked if items are available online. Unfortunately, no. This was designed to be a tag sale, of sorts, with remaining and deeply discounted merchandise from last year, in the hopes of helping our bottom line at the end of 2020. As many of you know, our traditional Festive Home wasn't possible this year, but we are hopeful to be back better than ever next year.
Our "Art of Giving" gallery art exhibition IS on in the gallery barn, and for now, is still open by appointment only. Visit www.rgoa.org to make an appointment. The show runs through Sunday, December 20th. "You can also view the artwork online and contact the Guild if interested in making a purchase. As we always say, 'Art makes a great gift for anyone on your holiday list!' Consider the gift of art this year for your favorite people."
