League of Women Voters of Ridgefield Announce Alice Paul Day Celebration on January 12

Ridgefielders are invited to join the League of Women Voters of Ridgefield’s Alice Paul Day Celebration co-sponsored by the Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center on January 12th at 11 am via Zoom.

A resident of Ridgefield for over 30 years, suffragist Alice Paul was one of the most influential women in America, leading the successful fight for women's right to vote, and championing equal rights for women through most of the 20th century.

In addition to learning about  Ms Paul’s many accomplishments,  attendees can watch as the League culminates its annual art raffle fundraiser with the drawing of the winning raffle ticket for renowned Ridgefield artist Tina Cobelle Sturges’s stunning seascape “Morning Solitude” which she created especially for the League.
