Mark your calendars for March 4th at 6pm. Ridgefield A Better Chance (RABC) is hosting its first virtual event, A Celebration of Education, from 6pm -7pm. Please consider supporting the RABC Scholars by joining us for an hour of programming highlighting RABC and the amazing young women who are a part of it.

RABC is home to seven promising students of color in grades 9-12. The girls attend Ridgefield High School on scholarship so that they can pursue their dreams of higher education. Since 1987, fifty-eight RABC Scholars have lived in the residential house in town and have graduated from Ridgefield High School to attend major universities and colleges.

The event will be LIVESTREAMED from London by Safiya Samms, an RABC alumna. Safiya, a Tech Manager at Facebook’s London office, has been a major supporter of RABC since her graduation from Ridgefield High School in 2007.
Ira Joe Fisher will introduce Guest of Honor, Jeanne Manto. She will be recognized at the event for her work as a former RABC Academic Advisor, Board Member and most recently, RABC Past President as well as her continued volunteer efforts on behalf of the organization.
