Grammy Award-winning composer, arranger, educator, curator and bassist extraordinaire – Christian McBride returns!  McBride scored his 7th Grammy win earlier this year in the Best Jazz Instrumental Album category for his work on “Trilogy 2″ alongside jazz fusion icon Chick Corea.  Aside from various stints with Sting, Chick Corea, Pat Metheny, Roy Haynes, Freddie Hubbard and George Duke, McBride has been artist-in-residence and artistic director with organizations such as Jazz House Kids, Los Angeles Philharmonic, The Jazz Museum in Harlem, Jazz Asoen among many others.  McBride was recently named the artistic director of the historic Newport Jazz Festival, taking over the reins from the festival’s longtime artistic director and founder, George Wein.

Emmet Cohen is the winner of the 2019 American Pianists Awards and the Cole Porter Fellow of the American Pianists Association.  He placed first in both the 2014 American Jazz Pianists Competition and the 2011 Philips Piano Competition at the University of West Florida and, and, was a finalist in the 2011 Thelonious Monk International Piano Competition. Cohen has appeared in varied international jazz events, including the Newport, Monterey, Detroit, North Sea, Bern, Edinburgh, and Jerusalem jazz festivals, as well as the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics in Russia.

Dan Wilson has shared the stage with jazz greats including Eric Marienthal, Russell Malone, Les McCann, René Marie, Jeff Hamilton, David Sanborn and Dave Stryker. Wilson had been playing with Joey DeFrancesco for a few years when he met Christian McBride. From there, Wilson went on to tour with Tip City, eventually leading McBride to serve as producer on “Vessels of Wood and Earth” (Brother Mister Productions/Mack Avenue Music Group).  The album is due to be released on April 23, 2021.
