Enter for a Chance to Win Hand-Painted Susan Scala Pottery with Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center’s Cannonball Gala-to-Go Raffle

Raffle tickets are available for purchase now at Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center! Support KTM&HC programming and preservation and enter to win an iconic piece of pottery hand-painted by artist Susan Scala.

Raffle tickets are $25 each and can be purchased on the museum’s website through Saturday, May 1. All sales from the raffle support KTM&HC preservation and programming, and individuals do not need to purchase Gala-to-Go meal tickets in order to participate in the raffle.

The raffle’s first prize is a hand-painted platter, valued at $500, that features a charming historical street scene in front of the Keeler Tavern. Scala’s colorful and dynamic illustrations tell a story of the Tavern and its centrality to the townspeople of Ridgefield. On the underside of the signed platter, Scala has painted a unique inscription describing the site’s significance historically and today. The second prize is a hand-painted pitcher, also valued at $500, that features a detailed likeness of Keeler Tavern, again characterized by Scala’s confident brushstrokes and beautiful color. The bottom of the pitcher is signed and describes features of KTM&HC in hand-lettered script.

“We are delighted to be able to raffle off these spectacular pieces of pottery so generously donated to KTM&HC by Susan Scala,” said Rhonda Hill, board president. “This year’s Cannonball Gala is key to raising the necessary funds to keep our doors open and lights on, especially during the ongoing pandemic.”

The winning tickets will be drawn virtually on May 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the conclusion of the special-edition Tavern Tastings broadcast live from the tavern museum. Winners do not have to be present. Buy tickets now here!
