Kristin Neff Webinar on Self-Compassion on Tuesday via Zoom

Kristin Neff, author of the best-seller, “Self-Compassion: The Proven Power of Being Kind to Yourself” will discuss the vital importance of self-compassion in decreasing anxiety, depression and stress in a webinar on Tuesday, April 27, at 7:00 PM.

Funding for this talk was made possible by the Liz and Steve Goldstone Foundation and is the last in a series of talks developed by Compassionate Ridgefield, in anticipation of the signing of the International Charter of Compassion on May 1.

Over the past decade, research has shown that self-compassion is the key to good psychological and physical health. A skill that can be learned, self-compassion is a practice of being kind and nurturing towards “oneself” and “can increase our inner drive, resilience, creativity and our abiity to excel at work and in every aspect of life.”

Free and offered via Zoom, register at www.ridgefieldlibrary.org.
