The Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce has announced its annual State of the Town Address with First Selectman Rudy Marconi on June 10th, 4-6pm, at Lounsbury House, Ridgefield’s historic community center.
In addition to the First Selectman’s Address, the Chamber will also be recognizing local individuals, businesses and organizations who have gone above and beyond this past year serving the community. Recipients include members of the Ridgefield Police Department, Ridgefield Fire Department and EMS, RVNAhealth, Dick Aarons/CERT, Meals on Wheels, Ridgefield Arts Council, and Pamby Motors.

Sponsored by Fairfield County Bank and Oak Ridge Waste & Recycling, the event will include talented musicians from Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra playing on the veranda along with tasting tables on the grounds featuring local restaurants. The Chamber invites all local eateries, both members and non-members, to feature themselves as part of its community initiative, however, space is limited. Restaurants and other interested sponsors may reach out directly at (203) 438-5992.
This ‘makeover’ of what had formerly been a golf course breakfast event for members is part of the Chamber’s reinvigorated role serving local businesses and Ridgefield community. “We appreciate and understand that it takes a great number of people to enable our vibrant and wonderful businesses and not-for-profits to continue making this town home. Although there were many candidates worthy of recognition, we had to narrow our selections to those who we’ve seen shine the brightest,” said Sarah Grossman, Executive Director of the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce.
