“We All Shine On” - a day of festivities, fun, and education in Ridgefield
Come and see the best that Ridgefield has to offer at the inaugural “We All Shine On”, a free event, created by ArtShipEarth, to be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 10-7pm. (Rain date is June 13th.)
The event, which is the brainchild of local resident Kevin Brown, is a vehicle to celebrate life as we transition into a more normalized and less restricted lifestyle as well as showcase local musicians, artists, businesses, and organizations - plus an outdoor exhibit of vintage cars!
Highlights:
- Volunteer Joe Hoermann will showcase Classic Cars from the 50s, early 60s; and from 10am-2pm
- Volunteer Aimee Cohen will oversee the resource information tables on the many Accessibility Services offered to Ridgefielders.
- Local resident Cheryl Ann Boyd will oversee the music that will be performed throughout the town center.
- The Ridgefield Volunteer Fire Department will coordinate activities for children which includes a dunk tank and a rescue fire truck for kids to learn about safety.
Ridgefield’s First Selectman Rudy Marconi says, "I extend my appreciation to all the individuals involved who are organizing this day for Ridgefield to shine."
Kevin Brown says, “Thank you Rudy, and the various sponsors and volunteers for joining in on what we think will be a great day in Ridgefield.”
