The Ridgefield Arts Council Celebrates Make Music Day Pre-Festival Today! Live Music at Ballard Park and in the Sculpture Garden at The Aldrich!

The Ridgefield Arts Council is ramping up for Make Music Day 2021 with music on Sunday, June 20th all around town!

“Make Music Day falls on a Monday this year, so we thought we would get the party started a day early and celebrate Father’s Day.”

At Ballard Park music begins at noon with Jebb, singer-songwriter, guitarist, and bass player. At 2:00 PM Tony & The West Siders perform authentic classic rock and blues, followed by Dan Moriarty and Co. delivering blues, rock, pop, and soul.

All Ballard Park concert attendees will receive a free ticket to see Eliot Lewis of Hall & Oates outside at The Ridgefield Playhouse Tent, performing at 7:00 PM.

At the Aldrich Contemporary Museum, beginning at 1:00 PM: Ander Mikalson presents a live performance by Chie Yoshinaka on violin and Amy Selig on cello, in the museum’s sculpture garden. The performance is choreographed by text, graphic and musical scores dedicated to Frank Stella’s Stars. Planet Pizza hosts students from Suzuki School performing at 3:00 PM.

At 7:00 PM Eliot Lewis of Hall & Oates performs at The Ridgefield Playhouse tent. Instrument donations are being accepted on behalf of the Kiwanis Club at Sedona Art, 450 Main Street. The Kiwanis Club of Danbury collects instruments that are donated to schools to assist children who can't afford renting or buying instruments.
