Back again for a sixth time is the Ridgefield Library’s annual LYL (Love Your Library) weekend – Friday, October 1 and Saturday, October 2, 2021.

Be sure to put this fabulous virtual LYL event on your calendar and purchase your tickets today.

In addition to the Friday evening event, the Library will present two programs for families to enjoy on Saturday, October 2nd on the front lawn of the Library.  Danny Magic will perform a fun and engaging magic show at 11:00 am.  At 2:00 pm talented drummer Craig Norton, whose passion is to share the joy of community rhythm-making, will present his “Hands on Drumming” program which is participatory and multi-cultural in nature as he brings songs, stories and dance from across the globe together into one engaging drum circle experience for all ages.  Stay tuned for details.

Love Your Library (LYL) was conceived after the Library’s new facility opened to introduce Ridgefield townspeople to the wonders of the building and to highlight its potential to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of our community.  Even today, many who are not regular users of the Library remain unaware of the breadth of services and programming available to patrons of every age.  The Library is the place to discover, question, learn and connect, and is an essential partner with the Town of Ridgefield and its civic organizations in delivering the promise of this 21st Century.  To learn more about our programs and services, please visit www.ridgefieldlibrary.org.

The Library is organized as a 501 (C) 3 and must independently raise 30% of its annual operating budget in order to maintain the high level of services that patrons deserve and expect.  The Library counts on the proceeds from this weekend to help reach its fundraising goals.  If you have questions, please contact Laureen Bubniak at This email address is being protected from spambots.
