Do the ABCs Have to Start with Anxiety? Find Out Online on October 4

On Monday evening, October 4 at 7:00pm, Parenting the #Selfie Generation: Resilience for Life will present an online program, Do the ABC’s Have to Start with Anxiety?

Parents and caregivers are encouraged to share their questions and concerns with child-development expert, Chris Bogart, Ph.D. The past two years have been hard on kids, teachers, and parents. Returning to school this year has likely been filled with all sorts of worries such as social pressure, friendship changes, fear of both infection and rejection as well as how students are doing with homework, projects, and grades...Social anxiety, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, and school avoidance are on the rise as kids cope with these pressures. Join us for an informative Zoom presentation with Christopher Bogart, Ph.D, psychologist and co-director of the Sasco River Center in Darien, CT.

This program is presented by the following partners: Project Resilience, Ridgefield Library, Ridgefield Public Schools, and the Ridgefield Youth Commission.
