The Ridgefield Arts Council invites local artists, creative professionals, and curious minds to the next installment of the GENERATOR, which will be held at 6:00pm on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at RPAC Gallery, located at 410 Main Street in Ridgefield, CT.

The networking event will feature three speakers discussing their respective artistic endeavors with the goal of encouraging dialogue and creative connection between and amongst attendees. December’s event will feature dynamic conversation from:

Non-profit executive Kathryn Tufano who has been the Development & Marketing Director of the Ridgefield Historical Society since 2020. With additional experience in development roles at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum and MASS MoCA, as well as the Executive Director of the Catskill Art Society, Kathryn has 17 years of experience working in nonprofit cultural institutions.

Musician Barrett Jones who is a guitarist and songwriter with over forty years of experience composing and playing music. A veteran of basement shows, DIY art spaces and punk rock dive bar gigs, Barrett has played in numerous bands and released his music on independent labels both in the U.S. and abroad. Barrett has also founded a music education lab for kids called Beat Club.

Three-time Emmy award-winning actor, comedian, writer, and painter Dave Konig who recently guest-starred on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The Blacklist, Blue Bloods and many others, and whose work is the subject of a current RPAC Gallery exhibition. Dave is a native New Yorker with an affinity for painting working-class people "mostly from the Bronx". Konig has co-created, along with composer Elliot Finkel, a new musical revue based on his paintings.

Doors will open at 6:00pm for mixing and mingling over light snacks and wine, and the speaker program will begin at 6:30pm.  Creatives, creative professionals, and all who live in and around Ridgefield are welcome to attend.  Cost of attending the Generator is $10, and pre-registration can be completed here.
