Cookbook Author Talk at the Ridgefield Library

On Thursday, December 2nd at 1:00 pm, local author, chef, and food photographer Madona Giorgadze will give an in-person talk at the Ridgefield Library about her interesting life and new cookbook, “Around the Georgian Table: Memories of My Childhood.”

In post-Soviet Georgia there was often no power, heat, food, or water, and Dona’s homework was done by candlelight in the cold. Fast forwarding through the years, she arrived in Ridgefield with her daughters and second husband. Dona took an interest in cooking shows and started preparing the food remembered from childhood. She became a private chef and a food photographer and has led many classes. If you'd like to see more, here is her website: https://georgiancook.com/

Dona has written a beautiful book of her delicious recipes, remembered from the taste of food her parents, grandparents, and friends' mothers made. It will make a lovely gift.
