We're Not Done Yet! Ridgefield Guild of Artists’ 16th Annual Festive Home…Reimagined Continues Through Sunday, December 19th!

Ridgefield Guild of Artists’ 16th Annual Festive Home…Reimagined continues through Sunday, December 19th in our antique Guild barn at the bottom of Halpin Lane.

It’s our holiday fundraiser when the white gallery walls are magically transformed by many artistic and giving volunteers into a vibrant holiday showcase filled with home accents, original artwork, hand-crafted and hand-selected gift items and gently used furniture…all for sale at great prices.

In 2020, we had to forego Festive Home for safety reasons, but even though COVID stubbornly still persists, we were determined to make it happen this year.  So, we are “reimagining” our pop-up holiday shop for 2021 with vignettes created by our own in-house design team, and in partnership with our friends at the Housatonic Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore, displaying gently used furniture and home goods.  We are excited to include fifty talented member artists with their original pieces of art (small and large) for sale.  Original art makes a great gift for the person who has it all.  It also makes a beautiful statement in your own home!

Over fifty artisans’ have joined us this year with their imaginative creations, including hand-made jewelry, stationary, knit-ware, very original handbags, beautiful baskets (many made by Ghana women), glass and ceramic items, wooden signs and cutting boards, ornaments and much, much more…and…we know you will be dazzled by our special entry wall!  Come see it!

As we have all become more mindful of conservation and unnecessary consumption, for this year’s Festive Home, we are making an effort to re-use, repurpose, recycle and upcycle whatever we can, all while inspiring a creative and special holiday season.

We are grateful to our members and volunteers, along with our sponsors for the 16th Annual Festive Home…Reimagined event: Karla Murtaugh Homes, Tusk and Cup, Sand Wedge, HamletHub, The Tweaked Home, plus Mara Freeman who created all the FH graphics.

For those of you who have come to visit, we thank you!  If you haven’t made it to the Guild yet, we look forward to your visit!

Ridgefield Guild of Artists’ antique gallery barn is located at 34 Halpin Lane, at the bottom of the hill just before Ridgefield’s Rail Trail.  Shopping hours continue Wednesdays – Sundays, 11am-5pm through Sunday, December 19th.  As always, we follow CDC, state and town guidelines.  We also require masks inside the building.
