4 Horsemen Songwriters Ride into Ridgefield to Raise Funds for Food Pantry on Saturday

The Four Horsemen are acclaimed singer-songwriters—including Ridgefielder Dave Goldenberg—who have filled venues around the region (you may have seen Dave as an opener for major comedians at the Ridgefield Playhouse). Now they hope to fill the Ridgefield Food Pantry.

Bring your own dinner and drinks to enjoy the Horsemen in a very special cabaret-style show at The Enchanted Garden Studio 2 this Saturday, December 11 at 8pm. Tickets are $20, and proceeds go to the food pantry.

The Four Horsemen individual singer-songwriters who play in the round, supporting each other musically and joking with each other relentlessly. They are:

David Ray—an accomplished musician whose songs have been sung by the likes of Shawn Colvin and who has shared the stage with Roger McGuinn, Joan Osborne and John Leventhal just to name a few. His early Fast Folk recordings are now in the permanent collection at The Smithsonian.

Mike Latini—whose immediately accessible music, engaging personal style and unique lyrical perspective enable him to ride the rails from the sublime to the ridiculous. He recently released his third CD, “Iron City.”

Dave Goldenberg—a satirical singer-songwriter who has opened for comedians Joan Rivers, Robert Klein, Judy Gold and Paul Reiser, along with such musical artists as Steve Forbert, Jill Sobule, Vance Gilbert.

George Mallas— recording artist in the mold of Joni Mitchell and Jackson Browne, his melodic songs touch your heartstrings on subjects of love, longing and redemption. George has released two CDs, the latest his wonderfully received “unscathed.” George co-hosts the “The Songwriters’ Block” weekly on Pawling Public Radio.

The Enchanted Garden Studio 2 is located at 529 Danbury Rd. (Rt. 7), just south of Cain's Hill Rd. Attendance is limited so get your tickets in advance.  A limited number of tickets may be available at the door.
