Nancy O’Connell, the owner of nancy O, invites the community to “Christmas on the Commons” on Friday, December 17 from 5:30 to 8:00 pm.
Nancy will open her shop, located in the Marketplace at 103 Danbury Road, for shopping, refreshments, and snacks (masks required indoors). Nancy is also inviting all knitters to be part of a “knit along” during the festive event.
The Ridgefield Chorale will be singing and, Nancy says, “We will therefore have caroling on the island of the Marketplace at 7:00 for anyone who’d like to come join in!”
Christmas on the Commons is not just an opportunity to gather and celebrate the season, Nancy is encouraging her customers to make a small donation to help our neighbors in need. “All funds will be matched by nancy O (up to $500) and used to purchase gift cards to local food stores (Ridgefield Organics, Caraluzzi’s, Stop & Shop, Nature’s Temptations),” says Nancy.
Please note: Nancy will continue accepting donations for our Food Pantry on Saturday and Sunday (December 18 & 19).
