Ridgefield Library Offers Program on Child Development and Executive Function Skills

On Monday, February 7 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom at the Ridgefield Library, Parenting the Selfie Generation: Resilience for Life presents “Executive Function Skills: The Building Blocks for Success in Life.”

Learn the basics of instilling these critical skills in your child from a panel of child-development experts: Sasco River Center Executive Director Christopher Bogart (Ph.D., Licensed Clinical Psychologist); Occupational Therapist Julia Cipriano (MS, OTR/L); and Executive Functions Specialist David Kuchar (MA).

This informative presentation will enable participants to: develop a thorough understanding of executive function skills; learn strategies to foster their development; and discover tips to help the sensory-sensitive child self-regulate.

The program is presented by Project Resilience, Ridgefield Library, Ridgefield PTAs, Ridgefield Public Schools, and the Ridgefield Youth Commission.
