Ridgefield Chorale joins forces with RSO for powerful concert on Saturday: Only All of Us

Saturday, May 14th, 2022, 7:00 pm, at the Anne S. Richard son Auditorium at Ridgefield High School, The Ridgefield Chorale presents Only All of Us, a heartfelt musical journey exploring shared global pandemic experiences; celebrating the community’s emergence from the dark of collective crisis.

Only All of Us combines original dialogue and familiar tunes in a multi-media choral musical which is the first-ever collaboration of Connecticut’s Arts Hero and Chorale Artistic Director Danie la Sikora and Stage Director/ Playwright Carol Mark. Enduring themes of love, hope and community will be e expressed d through contemporary songs, Broadway hits, and masterful choral movements accompanied by the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra.

The May performance marks the Chorale and Orchestra’s first collaboration since pre-pandemic days. Students from Ridgefield Suzuki School’s Chamber Music groups will perform in the lobby before the concert.

“The pandemic tried to silence the Chorale for nearly two years. Like people all over the world, we faced so many unknowns and obstacles. Yet we prevailed,” said Daniela Sikora. “From rehearsing outdoors under a tent in the pouring rain to singing a 75-minute concert socially distanced and fully masked and now coming together in this concert which honors those most affected, our frontline heroes…we’re all navigating this global storm together. How wonderful and appropriate that we are able to lift our voices in song!” said Sikora. “This multi-faceted presentation will take us through a time that challenged not only a few, but All of Us, “Sikora said.

Only All of Us tickets can be purchased at www.ridgefieldchorale.org.

First responders and frontline workers will be offered complimentary tickets. The concert is presented with funding from the Connecticut State Department of Economic and Community Development/Connecticut Office of the Arts (COA).
