Journalist Devi Lockwood traveled the world for over five years, often by bicycle, talking with people about climate change.
She set out in 2014 with the goal of recording 1,001 stories on water and climate change and frequently carried with her a simple cardboard sign reading, “Tell me a story about climate change.” Lockwood compiled her interviews with normal people from all over the world into her new book titled 1,001 Voices on Climate Change, which features insights on the effects of climate change from people on every continent except Antarctica.
Join Ms. Lockwood online on Thursday, April 21st at 7:00pm and she discusses her experience and continues with her hopeful global listening tour for climate change. Please register for the Zoom link.
The Ridgefield Library, Ms. President US and The League of Women Voters of Ridgefield are pleased to co-sponsor this program.
