After two years - it's BACK! The beloved event that brings the community together in the name of the many who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom - here at home and throughout the country makes a triumphant return in 2022!
Commander George Besse of the American Legion Post 78 asks you to save the day Monday, May 30th to attend Ridgefield’s Memorial Day Parade! The 2022 Grand Marshal is Korean War Veteran, Richard (Dick) Godbout. Read about this incredible veteran here.
The parade steps off at 11:30 and will feature six marching bands, many town organizations, clubs, sports teams and an Air Force flyover.
All are invited to attend the closing ceremony in Ballard Park at the end of the parade where there will be short speeches, patriotic music and remarks from the Grand Marshal.
