FREE Diversity Film Screening of Award-Winning Movie, KEEP THE CHANGE, at The Ridgefield Playhouse on May 17th

In recognition of Jewish Filmmakers and Autism Awareness, The Ridgefield Playhouse will be offering a FREE screening of the landmark motion picture KEEP THE CHANGE, on May 17, 2022 at 7:30pm, part of the Aquarion Water Company Diversity Film Series and Cohen and Wolf, P.C. Movie Series.

The New York City romance revolves around the story of David (Brandon Polansky) who meets Sarah (Samantha Elisofon) at an autism support group at a Jewish center. Writer and director Rachel Israel created the film based on a longtime friend who has autism, Brandon Polansky, and decided that the absolute best person to play Brandon was himself! This film is unique in that Israel brings together a cast of non-professional actors who are all on various levels of the autism spectrum.

KEEP THE CHANGE was Winner of Best U.S. Narrative Feature and Best New Narrative Director prizes at the Tribeca Film Festival, a NYT Critics Pick in 2018, has a 100% certified rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The bonus content for KEEP THE CHANGE will consist of an interview led by entertainment reporter Cheryl Washington and can be seen following the screening in the theater or on The Ridgefield Playhouse YouTube channel.

To reserve your FREE tickets, go online at www.ridgefieldplayhouse.org or, you can visit or call the box office (203) 438-5795.  The Ridgefield Playhouse is a non-profit performing arts center located at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street, Ridgefield, CT and is committed to keeping the arts alive and available to all.
