New Weir Inspired art exhibit and talk at the Ridgefield Library

Artist Bobbi Eike Mullen is exhibiting her paintings at the Ridgefield Library in a new show inspired by Weir Farm National Historic Park, where Mullen has worked for twelve years as an art instructor. Her "Weir Inspired" exhibition will be on view through June 29th in the Lower Level Gallery during regular Library hours.

Of her artwork the artist states, "Color is my focus. Becoming a New American Impressionist has introduced me to a renewed attitude of seeing, feeling, and excitement as I capture form, line and color."

The Library will host a reception for Bobbi on Thursday, June 2nd at 6:00pm. All are welcome - no registration necessary.

Also on June 2nd, at 5:00pm, Weir Farm Management Specialist & Visitor Experience Program Manager Kristin Lessard will give an inspiring introduction to the history and beauty of the Park. Kristin will highlight the artistic legacy of Weir Farm, and how contemporary artists, like Bobbi Eike Mullen, use the Park as a source of inspiration and creativity. Please register.
