The Aldrich hosts teen art-making workshop on June 17: Queer Power and The Artist’s Voice

Teen Art-Making Workshop: Queer Power and The Artist’s Voice at The Aldrich on Friday, June 17 from 5 to 7 pm

Calling all teens and young adults! Join us in honor of Pride Month for this creative art-making workshop with Education Manager Lorena Sferlazza, centered around identity and power at The Aldrich!

Together, we’ll create a safe space for conversation in The Studio while exploring art as a powerful vehicle for self-expression. Then, we’ll design photo-collaged portraits informed by the work of Tourmaline in 52 Artists: A Feminist Milestone—an activist, filmmaker, editor, writer, and transgender, queer artist who tells the stories of how Black trans and queer people have long shaped our world.

Space is limited; register today and invite a friend!
