Visit the Museum for FREE the third Saturday of every month. Participate in a Story Time at 10:30 am, a family-friendly tour of 52 Artists: A Feminist Milestone at 1 pm, and drop-in to The Studio for a guided family-friendly art-making activity from 12 noon to 4 pm.

Explore the art-making process of LaKela Brown in this self-guided activity with prompts shared in The Studio! Brown’s sculptural relief works of plaster and acrylic, featured in 52 Artists: A Feminist Milestone, present celebratory symbols of Black female empowerment and 1990s hip-hop culture as if they were artifacts from another time. All ages are welcome to participate, free with admission during Museum hours.

Explore what it means to identify your voice and reclaim your power through the lens of queer and trans artists working in New York City, through highlights of their work in this landmark exhibition.
