Rich Vos, Colin Quinn, Inside F1 and more announced at the Ridgefield Playhouse!

It’s a Monday with jam-packed announcements from the Ridgefield Playhouse! From comedy to Formula 1 Racing, classes, and theatre screenings, you won’t want to miss what new programming is coming up!

Comic Rich Vos is back on Friday, October 21st at 8pm with Rich Vos & Friends - A Night of Comedy Headliners, part of the Barts Tree Service Comedy Series. Prepare for a night no-holds-barred comedy with Vos and his comedy comrades - Yamaneika Saunders (Hulu’s Life and Beth), Mike Cannon, and Isabel Hagen. Vos has over 100 television appearances including four Comedy Central Specials as well as HBO, Showtime, and Starz appearances. He also co-hosts the podcast “My Wife Hates Me” with his real life wife, comic Bonnie McFarland.

Colin Quinn, one of the most beloved voices in comedy, takes the Playhouse stage Thanksgiving weekend with Colin Quinn Live! on Saturday, November 26th at 8pm, also part of the Barts Tree Service Comedy Series. His commentary on news headlines dates back to his popular 1990s run hosting “Weekend Update” on NBC’s iconic Saturday Night Live and as host of Comedy Central’s classic fan favorite series Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn.

Formal 1 fans- race to get your tickets to see the dream team of Leigh Diffey, David Hobbs and Steve Matchett at Inside F1: 2022 Year in Review on Monday, November 28th at 7:30pm, part of the Hearst Media Entertaining Conversation Series. After three previously sold-out events, the former NBC F1 Racing commentary team are set to return to the Playhouse stage for an up close and personal night that will take you behind the scenes, the day after the final race of the season. Head back to comedy school with the Christine O'Leary's Stand-Up Comedy Workshop, one of the several classes available at the Playhouse and part of the Adam Broderick Salon & Spa Whole New You Series. Learn from the best with award-winning comedian Christine O’Leary as she shares her secrets for how to get laughs on stage and economize your written material into a 5-minute stand-up comedy set! Classes run on Mondays September 19th – October 31st from 6:30-8:30pm, culminating in a Graduation Showcase on the Playhouse stage November 7th at 7:30pm! See why hundreds of students have called this their ‘game changer’!

Witness Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) make her West End debut in National Theatre in HD’s presentation of The Seagull on Friday, December 16th at 6:30pm. It is part of the FirstLight Home Care Classical Series, underwritten by Liz & Steven Goldstone, and Sabina Slavin, and with support from Whistle Stop Bakery. Following his critically acclaimed five-star production of Cyrano de Bergerac, Jamie Lloyd brings Anya Reiss’ adaptation of Anton Chekhov’s classic tale of love and loneliness to stage. Captured live from London with a cast that also includes Tom Rhys Harries (White Lines), Daniel Monks (The Normal Heart), Sophie Wu (Fresh Meat) and Indira Varma (Game of Thrones).
