MacDonald is an author, illustrator, and designer. He has also worked as a prop designer and consultant on period printing, design, and documents for over one hundred popular movies and TV shows, including Parks and Recreation, John Wick, Silver Linings Playbook, The Knick, and Boardwalk Empire.
Copies of MacDonald's beautifully-illustrated new book, Prop Man, will be available for purchase and signing, thanks to Books on the Common. Prop Man is co-authored by Steven Heller, also a giant in the design field.
