Ukrainian Independence Day is on August 24 and Ridgefield Responds will be hosting a town-wide event on August 27th to celebrate the country's sovereignty and incredible strength in defending itself since this war began earlier this year.

Ridgefield Responds promotes your partnership and your specialty item(s) or event on our website, social media, and in our press and PR
Ridgefield Responds is the town’s community mobilization effort to support humanitarian initiatives locally and abroad. The organization, launched to help in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, has also provided assistance with the earthquake in Haiti, Super Storm Sandy and local rent assistance after the Covid-19 outbreak. We are now re-activating the power of Ridgefield to help the Ukrainian people. Ridgefield Responds is a 501(c)(3) non-profit operating under Friends of Ridgefield Community Programs. We work with Rotary Club Lviv-Leopolis and other partners on the ground in Ukraine to send aid directly where it is needed most. The first several installments of funds and good (total value nearly $30,000), have been sent to support frontline fighters and medical personnel.
